	Risers can also be ordered in 5” inch heights. Risers are an excellent product and work in the same fashion as all of the other sizes. Experience has taught us that it is very hard to fit the 5” riser into a size chart as it becomes a personal preference. Since there is no standard in couch heights, recliner heights, or stationary seating heights we can only use our customer feedback to help in establishing suggestions. Bed heights also vary dramatically contingent on the type of frame, box spring height, pillow top, double pillow top and other variables. People of height that have long inseams may prefer the 5 inch. Generally people with long upper bodies prefer the 4” risers. The best rule of thumb is to buy a height a little bit shorter than you feel is appropriate. It is also suggested that if you use a wheel chair or walker and you require a transfer bench, it is best to keep the height increase to a minimum.  * For a truly custom look, the risers can be painted to match your décor. * Each leg or support on a bed, chair, couch, or recliner must have a riser. * It is always best to permanently install each riser onto your furniture. * Four risers of the same height will hold 3000 pounds. * The top of the riser has a curved convex shaped and a 2.5” inch opening. Check the base of your furniture to insure it will fit into the riser opening. If your bed has wheels which exceed 2.5” you may need to take off the bed wheels to achieve a secure fit. * Please check your bed, couch, recliner or stationary chair prior to ordering to insure you will have one riser for each leg.
