** TV/Video Game Time Manager

Price: $99.95

What is BOB?

BOB is a new and exciting product that puts parents in control!

BOB is a tool that limits the amount of time kids spend in front of the TV and video games (screen time).

BOB automatically turns off the TV once you decide how much TV is too much.

How BOB Works?

Imagine a tool that puts you in control - a tool that lets you set the amount of time your children spend watching TV, playing video games, or surfing the Internet. BOB is that tool. BOB is an easy to use timer that connects to any electronic device. Kids can watch TV, play video games, or surf the Web. Parents decide how much time and BOB makes sure they get it. Just plug any device's power cord into the back of BOB and lock it in. BOB then manages and monitors the time that device is used. Once a child uses up all of their time, BOB shuts off the connected device.

  • Very simple 3 minute set-up. Plug the TV into BOB (lock in the cord) and plug BOB into the wall!
  • Parents set time limits—TV shuts off when time is up!
  • "Time Blocks" prevent usage for specific times of the day (like after school).
  • Safe for all electronics, including TVs (Plasma/DLP/LCD), video game systems, and computers.
  • · Kids can watch TV, play video games, or surf the Web - parents decide how much time they get and BOB makes sure they get it!
  • Plug any device's power cords into the back of BOB and lock it in. BOB then manages the time that device is used. Once a child uses up all of their time, BOB shuts off the connected device.

WHY BOB Works?

    1. BOB removes the "TV struggles" - providing a happier and healthier household.

    2. Kids will learn to budget their time.

    3. BOB frees up more time for school work and can lead to higher grades.*

    4. When kids are outside playing, they see less junk food on TV and eat less junk food on the couch.*

* American Academy of Pediatrics recommends limiting children's screen time to 1-2 hours of quality programming per day.

95% of parents have rules limiting their children‘s TV usage, yet most of them fail to enforce those rules. Busy schedules, the never ending plea for “10 more minutes”, the sheer number of TV channels, video games, and the Internet have all contributed to this problem.

The solution is BOB, helping great parents be even better!

User Testimonials

Parents Create Consistency: Kathy from California

Example 1: Kathy has four children aged 10-19. She makes rules about how many hours of TV they can watch, but the rules are hard to enforce. She can't remember who has watched how many hours of TV. This creates an inconsistency and her older children have begun to realize that Kathy doesn't always remember if they have already used up their TV time for the week.

Result 1: Kathy was able to set up user accounts for each of her children that allowed each child a certain amount of TV each week. Kathy was relieved that she could rely on the machine to monitor television use. She told us it made everything "easier, the machine became the 'bad' person instead of me." Kathy felt better about finally being consistent with the rules.

Motivated Kids: Gail from Connecticut

Example 2: Gail's son Keegan is 15 years old. She has had a hard time dragging him away from video games to get him outside playing, completing his homework, or helping with chores.

Result 2: On days that she had a hard time getting Keegan to do homework or help around the house, Gail would reprogram BOB with a new password for her son. Once he had completed his homework or chores, Gail would tell Keegan the new password so he could watch TV again. She said, "BOB is a wonderful tool for parents and a motivator for kids. I would absolutely recommend it!"
