Set of two 2” Furniture Risers

If you are 5’ 6” feet or less than and would like to keep your feet flat on the ground while seated and get up more easily than using only two 2” Risers may be just what is needed.

Is getting up and out of low chairs getting to be difficult? Create the perfect seating position and get in or out of your chair with ease. This is a very cost effective solution. By rising the height of the rear of your chair by 2” or 3” and either not raising the height of the front of the chair it will allow your weight to transfer to your feet more easily. This can significantly facilitate getting your weight forward onto your feet. If you are 5’6”’ or less than you will often be able to keep your feet flat on the floor when seated. The back of the chair will be higher than the front of the chair which will help in transferring your weight out of the chair often without assistance. It is best to measure the height of the seat to the floor and then see how much higher you can make seat while still having your feet flat on the floor. Often this can be accomplished with a tape measurer. The pitch of the seat (angle from the back to the front) is a personal preference. Generally people prefer a two inch difference in height between the rear risers and the front risers. To accomplish the best results people 5’ 6” or less will often only need one package of two, 2” risers. Risers are available in packages of two in heights of 2”, 3”, 4” and 5”.

* For a truly custom look, the risers can be painted to match your dιcor.

* Each leg or support on a bed, chair, couch, or recliner must have a riser.

* We do not recommend the use of different sized risers on reclining chairs, or on beds.

* It is always best to permanently install each riser onto your furniture.

* Four risers of the same height will hold 3000 pounds.

* The top of the riser has a curved convex shaped and a 2.5” inch opening. Check the base of your furniture to insure it will fit into the riser opening.

* Please check your couch or stationary chair prior to ordering to insure you will have one riser for each leg.
