Safety Step 2” and 4” Leg Extensions ~ 1000 Pound Rated The ability to add 2” to a Step Stool while still maintaining the 1000 pound rating adds a lot of flexibility to this product. It increases the usable reaching distance and can get the step to a perfect mid way point to entering and exiting a Camper, RV or Bus.  In the event you need it a little higher 4” Leg Extensions are also available. Please Note: The extensions work well on all Safety Steps, however if used on the Large Folding Safety Step , the legs will no longer fold completely flat into to base due to the increased leg  length. If your goal is additional height, starting with the Commercial Safety Step or the Low Commercial Safety Step is recommended. When used as part of a cardiovascular “stepping or stair climbing program” the 2” addition is the natural progression that many stepping classes use. Or for a real workout use the 4” Leg Extension. A 2” leg extension will increase the height of the Commercial Safety Step to 10”. The 4” extension will increase the height to 12”.
